2. French Press, $39

The french press is by far my favorite way of making coffee. The coffee is so much more flavorful, and brings out all the tasting notes. This is a great gift for a college student or someone who just got their first apartment. The ideal set-up is a french press, whole beans from Panther coffee, and a coffee grinder. A cute mug is a great idea, too!

3. Aesop Resurrection Aromatique Hand Wash, $39

One of those little details that adds happiness to the little moments in life. This hand soap has a hefty price tag, but is unequivocally luxurious.

4. Books (Penguin Classics cloth bound Jane Eyre, $16.19, Pride and Prejudice $14.48, and The Picture of Dorian Gray, $18.07 )

I collect books, and they are one of the possessions I most cherish. Giving someone a book shows that you understand their tastes and interests, and they will think of you whenever they read it. Vintage/first edition novels are a serious treat, and the Penguin Classics collection is beautiful enough to double as decor.

5. Maison Martin Margiela Replica 'Lazy Sunday Morning' perfume, $125 or candle, $60

Not only are the apothecary-inspired bottles beautiful, but this is one of my favorite scents of all time. The perfume combines lily of the valley, patchouli, iris, and white musk to evoke a familiar but forgotten moment—a sun-drenched morning of relaxation.
