Spring is officially sprung in Florida... the high temperature today is nearly 90 degrees. Simply too hot to be caught out in anything other than a tiny crop top, and these sweet white high rise jeans. I've always secretly dreamed of being able to pull off white pants, and 2016 is the year I make it happen. Super important stuff, people!
Grabbed some coffee and snapped these photos downtown at Le Meridien hotel. The hotel is housed in a historic federal courthouse from 1905. The beaux-arts style is mixed with mid century modern furniture and about a million tons of marble.
Their little cafe served up some Illy lattes for us, along with mini fruit tartes, macarons, and eclairs galore. My favorite way to spend an afternoon is in a cute coffee bar, with an almond milk latte and a snack, reading a book and people watching.
I definitely tried to channel some spring awakening realness into this outfit. The white jeans and these blue gingham heels made me feel like the easter bunny's chic older sister. And let's not forget how lovely my new Céline sunglasses are! They're the perfect mix of round and cat eye, with a tortoiseshell frame to top it off.
