Red-y Freddy

Hello red! I am super inspired by bright, saturated primary colors lately. I'm letting the red do the talking in this 1960s inspired monochromatic outfit. I just adore this vintage shift dress paired with a peter pan collar.

Outfit details: Stance socks, beret, ASOS cat eye sunglasses, H&M white top, vintage dress, loafers (similar here), and purse.

One of the next big trends on the horizon is color, color, color. Primary colors without prints are my latest obsession. It's taken me a long time to come out of my all-black-everythang comfort zone!

Styling a single color at a time keeps everything fashion-forward, rather than just a mess of prints and colors. This outfit is à la White Stripes, with bright red pops of color tempered by white and black (tortoiseshell, whatever).

Can we take a moment to talk about how cute these Stance socks are?! I was on the hunt for red socks, and these babies were calling to me from their Nordstrom Rack bin. They have little hearts down the back, plus a sheer panel at the ankle.

Check out my primary colors shopping/inspiration guide below. Head to toe color is awesome, or if you want to go a little less bold, pick one colorful item and style with neutral pieces. A pop of color from your socks can also make a big impact!
