Florida weather is currently oscillating between balmy and hellacious, soon to settle on "outdoor sauna" until approximately November. I'm always reluctant to store away my winter clothes, as blazers and wool pencil skirts are much more exciting than shorts and tank tops, but the time has come to make the switch.
This little slip dress is the perfect thing to wear all summer long. The squared neckline and low back are chic details that don't detract from its wearability. Also, the high slit and pinstripe pattern are giving me serious Reformation vibes. (wistful sigh)
I'm not usually one to wear jewelry, but lately the minimal/modern earring fad has got me thanking my momma for the ear piercings that were seemingly a rite of passage for baby girls in the 80s.
The pièce de résistance is the perfect $12 basket bag I wrote about in this post.
The past week has been a difficult time for my family, and I've been doing my best to strike the right balance of introspection and staying busy. Hard times remind us how valuable our loved ones are, and how important it is to make time for them.
