As this post goes live, I will be on vacation in Europe! I've been looking forward to this trip for months, and as the final days count down I am in serious vacation mode.
This little wrap dress is perfect for vacation! It's in the style of the Reformation and Realisation Par dresses that we're all drooling over. Honestly, I'm pretty sure this is meant to be a bath robe, but it's 2017 and I'm living my best life so I'm gonna go ahead and do me.
I'm still majorly inspired by Jacquemus' "Santons de Provence" collection. As Simon Porte Jacquemus says:
“I tried to take something established like Provence and see it through young eyes. I hope it’s still something naive and pure, though, as I always want things to be”
"The ode to solid tradition was enforced with the weight of wholesome fabrics like linen, cotton and white lace; strong iterations of recognizable silhouettes like the billowing peasant blouse; the V-neck fichu of the Arlésienne woman (as famously painted by Van Gogh), and the purity of the white Provence-style dress."
