What started out as a mundane morning of errands began looking up when I came across a sidewalk book sale. They had boxes upon boxes of the most random, lovely, antique books – $1 each. From Wes Anderson-esque guides to tropical fish identification to dog eared Agatha Christie novels, they had a little bit of everything.

I walked away with a book of poetry by Ogden Nash (mostly chosen for the cover, I'll admit), the aforementioned tropical fish book, and a collection of mystery stories. Now, I just need to build a room with floor to ceiling bookshelves so I can dramatically ride a ladder back and forth while singing songs from Beauty and the Beast.

Outfit details: Kenzo skirt, vintage Tahari shirt (similar), Louise et Cie patent oxfords, Polette "Harry" glasses C/O (also love these slightly thicker frames), Everlane bag, Essie nailpolish in "Butler Please"
